How to read the index
- 0–24 Extreme fear: heavy selling and panic. Historically some good long-term buying windows, but prices can keep falling.
- 25–44 Fear, 45–55 Neutral, 56–74 Greed.
- 75–100 Extreme greed: euphoria and FOMO, often near short-term tops and when leverage builds up.
