Bitcoin Halving Countdown
The next halving happens at block 1,050,000, when the block reward falls from 3.125 to 1.5625 BTC. The date is an estimate from live block data.
How the estimate works
Halvings happen every 210,000 blocks, not on a fixed date. We take the live block height and multiply the blocks left by the recent average block time reported by mempool.space (10 minutes if unavailable). Block times vary with mining hash rate, so the date moves by days or weeks; treat it as an estimate.
